“We’re close to the end of the tunnel, light is now coming on” – Gov Uzodimma

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has expressed optimism that the challenges of Nigeria will soon be a thing of the past, saying the desired new dawn is close by.

Uzodimma spoke yesterday after the Christmas Day Mass at his home parish, Saint Rose of  Lima Ozuh Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area of the State.
.
His words: “I am aware that going by the current economic reforms of the federal government, we have hardship in town, but I am confident, having gone through the policies and reform programmes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that the aircraft is just taking off.
.
“I am very confident that we are very close and the what we are seeing now is the darkest moment at the end of the tunnel and the light is now coming up, there will be economic boom for the country and I am confident that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria will be better. If we don’t get Nigeria right under him, it will be difficult to get it right again”.

Governor Uzodimma promised that things would be different in the state as there would be no more insecurity in the state.

He promised to stimulate economic activities in line with his economic blueprint to rejuvenate the economy and bring about new lease of life for the citizenry.

The governor described Christmas “as a period to show love to one another as well as engage in retrospection, about our activities in the passing year and make resolutions to live a better life in the coming year.”
