UNN holds 183rd Inaugural Lecture in Enugu, July 13

All is now set for the 183rd Inaugural Lecture of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) slated for Thursday, July 13, 2023.

Professor Bennett C. Nwanguma, Chairman Senate Ceremonials Committee made this known in Enugu yesterday.

The lecture which holds at the Moot Court Hall of the University of Nigeria Enugu (UNEC) will focus on how to improve the living standard of man.
.
To take the centre stage as the lecturer is Professor Onyenekenwa Cyprian Eneh, pioneer Research Professor of Development Studies at the University.
.
Eneh is billed to speak on the topic “Taking Life to a Higher Level of Development: Quitting the Abuse of Life and the Environment that Supports Life.”
.
Giving a preview on the subject, he said the lecture is “about improving the living standard of man.
.
“To achieve this, man and government are advised to quit abusive emotions, habits, actions and weapons of mass destruction that degrade life and environmental life-support system.”

Prof Eneh is author and coauthor of hundreds of books as well as research works on development issues.
.
He is a fellow of the  International Society for Development and Sustainability, Japan, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, and Chemical Society of Nigeria.
.
In his community service, Prof Eneh founded and presides over the Welfare and Industrial Promotions (WIPRO) International, a charity non-governmental organization reaching the poor and the needy with skills training programmes, information education and communications materials, and resources.
