Tragedy: Over 12 persons feared dead in Ebonyi auto crash

Atleast 12 persons have been reported dead following a head-on collusion between a commercial bus and a truck along Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway.

The tragedy which occured at about 10 am on Tuesday at Ezzillo near Ebonyi State capital involved a fully loaded Ebonyi State University Bus with registration number EBJ 350 XA hired for burial function with a truck.

According to State Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corpse (FRSC) Uche Chukwurah, said 14 passengers were involved.

“12 died: 10 females and 2 males. The two injured are receiving treatment at FETHA”, he added.
