Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has said that most of the ongoing infrastructural projects being executed by his administration would be ready for commissioning in August, this year.

.
Some of the projects, he said included: renovated Government House Chapel, l Imo International Conference Center (IICC), now renamed after the late Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and the flyover in the front of Assumpta Cathedral, Owerri.
.
Meanwhile, Uzodimma disclosed that acting on the report of a committee set up by the Chief Emeka Ihedioha led administration which investigated land abuses in the state, his administration decided to opt for digital solution to the issue of land administration.
.
“That is why we converted all the hard copy records to digital format. We have arrived at our destination, with a Geographic Information System and proper layout plans, to verify, authenticate and reallocate lands in the state”.
.
According to the governor, there is already a legislation by the Imo State House of Assembly, “which I assented in 2021, making it compulsory for all land owners in Imo State to come and recertify their title documents.
.
“It is going to be done in a digital way. 98 percent of land administration and transactions will be done online, for convince. So by that way, we have a society that will be governed by sanity and harmony”.
