The ongoing conflict between office of accountant General, Head of Service and Nigerian labour congress in Taraba State over biometric verification and data capturing of state workers has been resolved.

The resolution followed a 3-hour meeting at the Ministry of Finance, Thursday by State Head of Service, Dr. Ahmed Kara, Account General of the State Mr. Gaius Danjuma, NIC Chairman comrade Peter Jediel, director SSS and committee members for staff verification and data capturing respectively.

Speaking with Daily News Nigeria Correspondent shortly after meeting, Committee chairman on staff verification and data capturing, Abdulkadir haruna Abubakar said all lingering crisis surrounding staff verification and data capturing have been amicably resolved during the meeting.

Abdulkadir pointed that insemination making the run that the state was on fire has put to rest as exercise has comment, adding that about 1,000 civil servants are targeted to be captured in today’s exercise despite late commencement.

According to him, the exercise has started from office of accountant General, Ministry of Finance and State board of internal Revenue (BIR) and it’s expected to last for one month.

On her part, the State Accountant General, Mrs. Gaius Danjuma described the purported insemination crisis making round the state as unfounded.

According to her, Staff biometric verification and data capturing was normal exercise been carried out in various places and state and was not peculiar to Taraba along.

She denied rift between his office, NLC and Head of Service, pointing out that issue of grey areas has been resolved accordingly and civil servants have equally been addressed.

“You can see all shaking hands together, laughing and matching out the meeting, no conflicts, no fighting, all of us are working together for a common goal and am happy everything went amicably”, he stated.
It would be recall that on Tuesday March 4, the organized labour in the state under the auspices of (NLC) and (TUC) had issued notice to civil servants in the state to stay away from the biometric exercise built to commerce on Wednesday 6th march until the crisis was over.
Both joint letter was signed by NLC state secretary Comr. Buba Adamu Wadumayi and his counterpart from TUC Comr. Paulina Ishaya and made available to news men in the state. Efforts to speak with state NLC Charmin Comr. Peter Jediel wasn’t successful as his phone lines were unreachable.
