STVSMB CHAIRMAN HONOURED BY A MEDIA GROUP

The Chairman Science Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board (STVSMB), Dr Amaka Ngene was in her office yesterday honoured by a Media Group, Media Network Associates with a distinguished Merit Award.

This recognition is a testament to her tireless efforts to revolutionise education in science technical and vocational studies, the award citation read by the chairman of the Media Group Comrade Norbert Okolo, highlighted Dr. Amaka Ngene’s exemplary leadership and focus in equipping students of the board with relevant skills to become self employed after their studies.

Also, her initiatives include teachers training, and she has commenced training programs for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge among others.

Dr. Ngene is noted to have embarked on resource enhancement, improving on educational materials and infrastructure as well as in digital transformation.

Chairman, Dr Amaka Ngene and her board have developed templates to integrate digital solutions into the education system, her achievements are remarkable considering her background in education management.

The award is a well-deserved recognition of Dr Amaka Ngene’s dedication to education and her commitment in empowering students of Enugu State.
