"Study, understand me and tolerate my shortcomings" - Gov Uzodimma begs Imolites

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has pleaded with people of the state to make effort to study him so as to understand him and be able to tolerate his shortcomings.

Uzodimma made the plea while addressing the People of Imo State after a thanksgiving Mass marking his 65th birthday at the Government House Chapel, Owerri yesterday.

The governor made it clear that the only perfect being is God, adding, “but we will continue to do our best, because what makes us Christians is the idea and effort of trying to be like Christ. So we shouldn’t do those things which Christ condemned”.

He commended Imolites for their passion to celebrate his birthday with him, having earlier voted massively for him which gave him an unprecedented victory of winning in all the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.

The governor also specially appreciated the clergy and entire Christian faithful in Imo State for their prayers and for coming together from the three zones of the state to celebrate his birthday Mass

The governor expressed happiness for being able to once again celebrate his birthday, saying, “I am happy for all the good things God has done for me”.
