Sack of native doctors, others in Anambra: Group throws its weight behind Gov. Soludo

An Igbo Socio-cultural organization known as Igbo Mandate Congress has thrown its weight behind Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State in the bid to rid off the ugly activities of native doctors and other diabolical practices in the state.
.
The Igbo Mandate Congress made the declaration after a review of its 2024 reports gathered from various parts of the country on December 20, 2024.
.
A press statement jointly  signed by the Director General, Igbo Mandate Congress, Rev. Obinna Akukwe and Head, Internal Communication, Paschal Nwaigwe stated:
.
“Igbo Mandate Congress IMC, the socio-cultural group reputed for its first hand Intelligence reports throughout Nigetia, do hereby support the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo for declaring war on some evil native doctors and Ezenwanyi in the State”.
.
Igbo Mandate Congress, IMC, recalled that Governor  Soludo gave the order at the event of the 2024 Public Service Lecture he gave in  Awka.
.
IMC stressed that Soludo had few days earlier inaugurated the security outfit structure codenamed ‘ Operation Udo Ga Achi’ in Anambra State’
.
According to IMC, Governor Soludo said that many native doctors are helping criminal elements in the state by preparing charms for them.
.
According to the group, Governor Soludo in his lecture asserted that hard drugs and some diabolic native doctors in Anambra state are part of the forces aiding and fueling the evil and criminality in the state by preparing different kinds of charms and protectives for them for their operations.
.
 The group further said that  Governor Soludo findings also revealed that kidnapped victims are being kept in the shrines of some of the native doctors, a situation which shows they work hand-in-hand with the criminal elements who use their shrines as hideouts.
.
IMC also vouched support to Governor Soludo’s move to destroy the shrines of all  Native doctors in Anambra State with a record of preparing evil charms for the people.
.
IMC said it concurs to Governor Soludo  appeal to all the Presidents-General in Anambra state  to help in exposing all the evil native doctors in their communities and areas, for decisive actions from the government.
.
IMC also agreed to the warning to sack, arrest or prosecute any PG who shields or fails to expose and let the government know about any evil herbalists in his community, stating such PG will be seen as an accomplice and shielder of criminals
Rev. Obinna Akukwe said Igbo Mandate Congress was the first organization to raise alarm in 2021 and 2022 that native doctors in Igboland were preparing charms for criminals and bloodletting elements claiming to be IPOB agitators.

He stated, “These agitators later became kidnappers to the point that Nnamdi Kanu denounced their activities severally.
.
” Igbo Mandate Reports have it that these native doctors from various states of the South East prepare different degree of charms to Biafra agitators . These native doctors demand the heads or blood of goat, cows and Humans to empower the charms.
.
‘Some native doctors told our investigating teams in 2021 and 2022, that to their surprise, these agitators surfaced with kidnapped human beings as ransome for sacrifice instead of the Cows they earlier requested.
.
Rev. Akukwe said, “some native doctors have confessed that some of their victims slaughtered to appease the gods include virgins, old people, young men, pregnant women in their quest to solicit asistance to invade and capture military and security barracks and outposts and get both referendum and mass action.
.
Akukwe stated, “Igbo Mandate Congress noted that on most occasions, those sent to attack military and police barracks were slaughtered while many were captured, bringing shame to the struggle.
.
“IMC investigated through its community links the murderous activities of over 80 native doctors, and disputed their claims that Biafra Can be achieved by Charms, Amulets, Odiechi. and human sacrifices.
IMC operatives were alarmed that about 45 native doctors admitted that they prepared dangerous charms which included but not limited to human sacrifices. They claimed that their actions is to Chain Buhari, Buratai, Uzodimma , and enable the boys to invade and chase away the ‘ Military and Security Terrorists ‘ from Biafra land”.

“IMC commends Prof Soludo on his consistency on insisting since his enthronement in 2022 that bad elements among Native Doctors are part of Insecurity in Anambra State.
.
“Igbo Mandate Congress is piqued that while the Nigerian Military is fighting dissidents with Intelligence Gathering, Espionage, Internal Conflict, Technology and sophisticated weaponry, the agitators are resisting with Charms, Amulets, Odechi, Human and animal sacrifices, Dane guns, Pump Action Rifles, Pistols and few collections of AK- 47 and baseless speculative propaganda.

“Igbo.Mandate Congress reiterates that Religion and worship are means of man relating to his Maker, God, and notes that no god in Igboland is demanding any human sacrifice for Biafra, rather. ubiquitous elements using Spiriisms for criminal purposes”.
.
The group advised all town unions in Igbo land to emulate the Anambra state example as a measure of reducing crime in the region.

“Igbo Mandate Congress asks all town unions in Igbo land to support this initiative and rid Anambra State of Native Doctors aiding Criminal Agitators, Kidnappers and Robbers’.
