Nwokoro emerges Chairman of Enugu Association of  Heads of Federal Establishments, vows to reposition the group

The Association of Heads of Federal Establishments in Enugu State has elected its new executive members with Barr Emeka Emmanuel Nwokoro emerging as Chairman.

Nwokoro is to pilot the affairs of the association for the next four years.

Other members of the executive are: Engr. Sir. Musa  Augustine, Zonal Coordinator, Industrial Inspectorate Department, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment, Enugu State (Vice Chairman), Dr Onyedikachi Stanley Onovo,  Eastern District Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Eastern District Headquarters, Enugu (Secretary), Mr Onyeka Moses, Deputy Director, National Agency for Food Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) South East Zonal Office, Enugu (Assistant Secretary).

Also among the members are: Mrs Ijeoma Onyishi, Assistant Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA) Enugu (Treasurer), Curator, National Museum of Unity Enugu, Mr Duru Aloysius (Financial Secretary), South East Zonal Director, News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Mrs Maureen Atuonwu (Public Relations Officer), Mr Kingsley Ngoka of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation, Enugu,  (Welfare Officer), Assistant Chief State Counsel, Federal Ministry of Justice, South East Zone, Enugu, Barr. Nneamaka Anika (Legal Adviser)

Speaking at her valedictory speech, the Enugu State Director of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Mrs. Lucy Ijetta, who is also the immediate-past Chairman of the association called for synergy and cooperation with the state government in her efforts to better the living standards of the people.

Mrs. Ijetta, who glowingly thanked the Enugu State Government for her unflinching support to the Association listed her achievements within the last four years “to include, completion and furnishing of the Association’s Secretariat Building in Enugu, increasing the membership of the Association as well as creating and sustaining a mutually beneficial relationship between and among federal establishments and the Enugu State Government”.

In his acceptance speech, the new Chairman of the association, Barr.Nwokoro, who is also, the Zonal Director, Federal Ministry of Justice, South East Zone, Enugu, thanked members for the confidence reposed in him and pledged that with the support of everyone, he would take the association to higher heights.

The event which took place at the Industrial Training Fund, South East Zonal Office, Enugu State, attracted heads of different Federal Government establishments in the state.
