Imo Governor, Uzodimma Swears-in New Commissioners, Commission members

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has sworn-in five new commissioners and members of the Civil Service and Local Government Service Commissions. The ceremony took place at the New Exco Chambers, Government House, Owerri.

Uzodimma charged the new commissioners to assist the government in revitalizing its activities, aimed at enhancing efficient service delivery.

He emphasized that the selections were made based on merit and personal integrity, urging them to uphold the highest ethical standards.

“The new commissioners will play a crucial role in strengthening the administration’s capacity to realize the vision of a new Imo State,” Governor Uzodimma said.

Chief Enyinnaya Onuegbu, one of the newly sworn-in commissioners, assured the governor of their commitment to working diligently towards the improved development of the state.

The new commissioners are Professor Boniface Nworgu, Chief Kenneth Okafor, Chief Enyinnaya Onuegbu, Dr. Anthony Mgbeahuruike, and Dr. Elias Emedom.

The Civil Service Commission members are Mrs. Julie Onyeukwu (Chairman), Dr. Uche Edomobi, Goddy Dike, and Dr. Romanus Eze Ogu.

The Local Government Service Commission members are Dr. Nick Obinatu (Chairman), Chief Ethelbert Nwachukwu, Chief Chukwuemeka Anokam, and Mr. Stanley Okwuosa.
