Ijaw Elders Forum mourns demise of Pa Adebanjo

The Ijaw Elders Forum (IEF) Lagos has expressed condolences on the passing of Pa Ayo Adebanjo who they described as a great Titan and Patriot.

The condolence was ex pp messed in a statement issued on Sunday by Chief Bukazi Etete , Chairman IEF Lagos

“We thank God for a life well spent for the good of humanity. Pa Adebanjo was a detribalised Nigerian and an astute politician who spent his entire life advocating for equity and justice in Nigeria.

“He was an advocate for democracy good governance and social justice.

“IEF identifies with the great ideals the Afenifere leader stood for in Nigeria. Ideals he not only espoused but collaborated with other ethnic nationalities like the Ijaw Elders forum to actualise.

“We celebrate the inspirational life the great sage lived,” IEF stated..

The Ijaw elders expressed condolences to the Adebanjo family, the great people of Yoruba nation and Nigerians at large and prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest.
