Former Chief Press Secretary to Ex-governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State, Onyebuchi Ememanka has faulted the posting of some pictures of the current state of Enyimba Stadium Aba, saying it is deceptive.

The Aba Stadium is the home ground of Enyimba International Football Club of Aba, Abia State.

Ememanka in a statement said, “The whole idea behind posting the pictures was to do what the Otti administration has a First Class in doing – Blaming Ikpeazu!”
.
According to him, his friend and media man to Governor Alex Otti, Ferdinand Ekeoma who posted the pictures “shot both himself and the government he works for in the leg.”

His words:

“I have posted about 10 pictures in this my post. Please look at the pictures carefully.
.
“The first five pictures show the current situation while the last five or so show what it was months ago. Two things clearly happened in the first five pictures. Some form of vegetation started growing there and some portions of the roof were removed. Is there anything else?
.
“Look at the seats there. There are still intact. Not even one was removed.
Please look at Picture No. 5 which shows a discoloration of the concrete floor. Compare it with the very last picture which shows the concrete floor months back. Note the difference in colors of the concrete floor.

“What am I driving at?

“My point is very simple.
.
“The Otti administration came in on the 29th May 2023 and this is August! Look at those vegetation growing in the first 4 pictures. See how fresh and current they are. You will agree with me that 2 months of abandonment of that stadium is more than enough for those grasses to grow.

“What were you expecting when you abandon a stadium complex that is used to seeing action regularly? When was the last time soccer action took place at that stadium?
.
“The removed roofs are clearly an act of vandalism. What did the Otti administration do to secure the Stadium since May 29th? Look at it closely, just a few aluminum roofing sheets are missing there!
If you people like, don’t replace them, inu!

“Even before we left office, the regular Nigerian Soccer season had ended and Enyimba had gone to play the Super 8 League which they won outside Abia State!
.
“Do you know that some vandals went and removed the armored cables installed at the Abia State Multi Specialist Hospital Aba, 2 weeks after 29th May because the current administration did nothing to secure the place?
.
“Even as we speak, that hospital remains abandoned while the talkative commissioner for Health moves from one Radio Station to another speaking Queen’s English.

“Ok. Do you also know that the new Government House Complex Umuahia has been abandoned since 29th May?
These people have simply refused to go there, even to protect the furniture and electrical appliances there!

“The brand new Garment Factory at Aba which we commissioned 2 days to our exit has been abandoned together with all the equipment therein. These people have not done anything there.

“You know their plan?
.
“After several months now, they will go there with photographers and show you pictures of a decayed property and try to blame Ikpeazu for their own mistakes.
.
“So, Ferdinand, what exactly did you seek to achieve by posting those pictures after 2 full months of your administration?
.
“You wanted to tell us that the Otti administration is incapable of arranging ordinary cleaning and removal of weeds?
I don’t understand you people, honestly.
.
“Even in the house and compound where you live, if you abandon it for 2 months, grass will start growing inside the compound while the inside will start experiencing decays small small.
.
“If you are moving into a house where another tenant lived before you, won’t you clean and wash the place? At times, you even repaint! Or do you take pictures of the house and post on social media to discredit the former tenant?

“What sort of madness is this?
.
“Instead of you people to arrange for the thorough cleaning of the Stadium, you are here blaming Ikpeazu who left office over 2 months ago?
.
“Is it Ikpeazu or Ururuaja that will come and clean Enyimba Stadium for you people?
.
“What was the State of the Stadium when Ikpeazu took over?
.
“The level of hypocrisy exhibited by this administration is unbelievable!
Ordinary cleaning o!

“Ikpeazu rebuilt the Enyimba Stadium. That is a fact of history. He gave that stadium the best soccer pitch in this country. The records are there. If you people cannot maintain it and fix things that need attention, it’s entirely your problem!

“Finally, if you people are not careful, you will mess up the reputation of former Super Eagles, Captain, Nwankwo Kanu with your petty politics. You will not allow him to work as Chairman of Enyimba FC, you want to use him as a tool in your politics of needless blames and hypocrisy? No wahala! We are watching.
