.
“This this Golden Dawn 111, I believe will also be  very successful one. I think this is an exercise that should give confidence to our people, that there will be peace in Imo State and entire South East zone during the yuletide  period.
.
“So all our people who are everywhere can actually return and expect that there will be peace at home, as the government, working with security agents, will ensure that no criminals are left to run around in the region during the Christmas period.
.
“All visitors to Imo State and entire South East zone are welcome to come in because the state and region will be safe, even as we believe that, with the combined efforts of security operatives in the state and this particular exercise being flagged off today, it is certain that Imo State is going to be safe and that yuletide will be very enjoyable for everybody.
.
On essence of the Operation, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 82 Division, Major General Hassan Dada said it is one of the exercises approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja to ensure that peace and security is guaranteed in the entire South East states, Imo State inclusive.

Dada advised those who has plans of fomenting trouble during the yuletide season, to, in their own interests jettison the idea as they may not be alive to tell the story if they become hellbent, as, ” we are up and doing, we have the equipment, we have the enablers.
.
“It is for their own good to just stay away and allow the people to celebrate the yuletide without any problem”, he warned.
