There was an excitement in Enugu the Enugu State capital on Thursday following the unveiling of ace broadcaster/actress, Miss Chidinma Vivian Eze, as Brand Ambassador of Mitchelle Foods Enterprises, makers of Jigbo Instant African Salad.

Miss Chidinma whose aura and eloquence captivated the audience, became the cynosure of all eyes as she put pen on paper for the contractual agreement between her and the Mitchelle Foods company as brand influencer.

Recall that last year, Mitchelle unveiled another artiste, Miss Enemchukwu Chinelo Rosemary as its Brand Ambassador.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony at their Corporate Office in Enugu, the Managing Director of Mitchelle Foods, Mr. Kingsley Okah, described Jigbo as an instant African Salad made from Cassava, pointing out that the product is selling very well in about 13 states in Nigeria and is being exported to different countries in the world.

Okah said that there was need to spread the news more about Jigbo and that was why they needed to unveil another brand ambassador even when they have an existing brand ambassador.

“Jigbo Instant African Salad, (noodle) is purely organic, a home made product and we need to spread the message, hence we are today unveiling another brand ambassador,” Okah explained.

The new brand ambassador, Chidinma, while signing the contract said that she was ready to let the world know more about the product which not only would she be spreading the message, but she is enjoying the product.

“I feel very happy and excited that today I am Jigbo brand ambassador but apart from being excited, I am ready to work to see that Jigbo becomes a household name of Instant African Salad, noodle,” she said.

One of the distributors of Jigbo, Chidiebere Kingsley Akpata said since he discovered Jigbo which is uniquely organic, he not only distributes it but eats himself.

“I am a trader. I used to buy goods from Indonesia, China and and so many other countries and sell them in Onitsha, Anambra State but since I saw Jigbo, I liked it and have been promoting since.
.
“Jigbo is our own food. One thing about Jigbo is that everything about it is organic. It is unique. It is not like other noodles and I have since been advertising it,” Akpaka said.

This reporter observed that the eveht was a special one for the invited guests including journalists as they took their turns to eat the Jigbo Instant African Salad as well as smiling homes with the noodles.
