Enugu Housing Boss Asogwa Celebrates Gov. Peter Mbah On 2nd Year Anniversary

As Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah marks his second year in office, the Managing Director of the Enugu State Housing Development Corporation (ESHDC), Dr. Gerald Asogwa, has commended the administration for its far-reaching achievements across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

In a goodwill message issued on May 29, 2025, to commemorate the anniversary, Dr. Asogwa praised the governor’s leadership style anchored on transparency, accountability, people engagement, and infrastructural renewal.

“Hurray! May 29, 2025, marks the 2nd year anniversary of the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State,” Asogwa declared.
.
He stated that under Mbah’s watch, Ndi Enugu have witnessed a transformation inspired by pillars of “transparency, people engagement, accountability, disruptive and infrastructural renewal.”
.
On behalf of his family and the staff of the Housing Corporation, Asogwa extended warm felicitations to the governor and praised his administration’s inclusive approach to development.

“Your Excellency, we appreciate your landmark achievements on all sectors of the state economy, especially in the areas of education, security, infrastructure, and wellbeing of the citizens,” he said.

Asogwa highlighted the governor’s inclusive governance strategy, which ensures that all 260 wards in the state benefit from ongoing projects, including Smart Green Schools, Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centers, and Farm Estates. “When you came on board, you adopted the 260 wards of the state in the siting of projects in line with the inclusive governance model,” he noted.

In the housing sector, the ESHDC boss outlined several major estate projects initiated or advanced under the Mbah administration. These include:

Blossom Garden Estate, Trans-Ekulu Annex, featuring over 70km of dual carriage access road Coal City Eastern Extension Alliance Estate, spanning 46.2km of access and internal roads, complete with walkways and bicycle lanes River View Estate, Amechi, Rock City Estate, GRA,
Gateway Estate, Owo, and
Several others still in progress
Dr. Asogwa concluded his message by reaffirming continued support for the governor and praying for peace and stability in the state.

“We will continue to pray for you and your administration for more stability, peace and progress in Enugu State,” he said.
