Enugu Governor, Mbah is welcome to APC - Ex- VON Boss, Okechukwu

Former Director-General of Voice of Nigeria (VON) and one of the founding members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Enugu State, Osita Okechukwu has said that Governor Peter Mbah is welcome to APC.

Speaking on behalf of the foundation members, Okechukwu said, “We are at a loss why Chief Uche Nnaji who himself is a hijacker and kind of political bandit from the PDP is chasing away performing Governor Mbah.

“For we the foundation members, Governor Peter Mbah should disregard the rantings of our dear brother the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, because we want to win Lion Building for the first time and join 23 other states to guarantee President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in 2027.”

“We the foundation members of APC wish to state unequivocally that His Excellency, Dr Peter Mbah, Esq and his group are wholeheartedly welcome to APC Enugu State in accordance with the standard convention of our great party and not be scared by anybody.

Okechukwu was reacting to scare mongering statement, Chief Nnaji made at a meeting in Enugu yesterday where he said that, “Anybody who wants to run for the governorship of Enugu State, let him come to the APC, we will go to contest, we are waiting for them.”

He finally advised advised his dear brother to pay more attention to his ministry as we are yet to locate any innovate stride he has made in the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.

“Otherwise we will not allow Chief Nnaji who came distant fourth with 14,575 votes in the gubernatorial election and fouled atmosphere for President Tinubu with 4,722 in the 2023 presidential election to rubbish APC again.” Okechukwu retorted.
