A member of Ebonyi State House of Assembly representing Abakaliki North state Constituency Hon. Victor Chidi Nwoke has promised to tackle youths restiveness, poverty, unemployment in his constituency by providing jobs for them.

Nwoke said jobs would be created through technical and vocational skills and trainings to youths in his constituency.

The Lawmaker who stated this in an interview with journalists in Abakaliki recently, expressed concern over rising level of Youth employment in the country.

He also promised to prioritize education by sponsoring youths into institutions of higher learning and as well engaged heath professionals to be checking the health status of his constituents especially aged men and women for optimal performances.

He advised youths in the Constituency to shun indulging into cultism or any other illegal group and engage themselves meaningfully while expressing his readiness to harness talents among the youths and liaise with National Assembly members to secure jobs for them in the Federal establishments.

He further reassured to make the interest and welfare of his constituents his utmost priority while soliciting their continued support and solidarity to take the constituency to the greater height.

The lawmaker who is a PDP member said he was overwhelmed with joy about the magnitude of support from across boards that propelled him to win the election to represent Abakaliki North Constituency, called all and sundry to also support the government in power for the overall interest and development of the State.

He noted that the massive supports witnessed during the struggle was a clear indication that his people wants him to represent them.

He reassured to make the interest and welfare of his constituents his utmost priority while soliciting their continued support and solidarity to take the constituency to the greater height.

He commended the Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP His Excellency Dr. Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii for his unflinching supports through out the electioneering period.

He also congratulated the immediate past Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on his emergence and as the fourth governor of the state.
