Ebonyi Governor, Nwifuru appoints Professor Grace as new SSG

Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has approved the appointment of Professor Grace Umezurike as Secretary to State Government (SSG).

Umezurike is the wife of the immediate-past state commissioner for Health, Dr Daniel Umezurike who until her appointment was a lecturer at Ebonyi State University.

Governor Nwifuru in a statement made available by his Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor, stated that the appointment takes immediate effect.

According to the statement Mrs Umezurike will be sworn – in on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at the Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Ochudo, Centenary City, Abakalilki by 10am.
