Ebonyi: APGA Candidate wins Ezza North/Ishielu Federal constituency

The Candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Ebonyi State for Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency, Hon. Joseph Nwobasi has won the Saturday’s supplementary election held in the State.
Nwobashi was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Professor A.O. Ibegbu at Ezza North Local Government Area, INEC Office Collation Center.
Hon. Nwobasi won with a total vote of 11,894 while the PDP candidate, Emmanuel Nwite got 11, 114. The APC Candidate, Mrs. Nora Alo scored 10, 383 votes.
“Hon. Nwobasi Joseph having certified the requirements of the law is hereby officially declared winner and returned elected as Honourable member Ezza North/ Ishielu federal constituency”.
The APGA governorship candidate in the just concluded election, Professor Bernard Odo, comes from the same constituency.
