Correctional Service Training School, Enugu decorates 49 newly promoted Officers

The Correctional Service Training School, Enugu on Thursday, decorated 49 Officers and Men who were recently promoted by the authority.

The Commandant of the Premier Institution, CC Ahmad Habiba while addressing the promoted Officers noted that the 2022 promotion  was unprecedented because of the large number of Officers captured in this particular exercise.

She expressed profound gratitude to the Controller-General of  Corrections Service (CGCs) Haliru Nababa for  demonstrating great priority in staff welfare, capacity building and motivation as strategies to achieving the core mandate of the Service.
.
Habiba stressed that the CGCs is a pragmatic leader who has been true to his word and committed to fulfilling the promises he made on the day of his inauguration as Controller General of Corrections.
.
She further pointed out that promotion comes from God and to whom much is given much is expected .
.
“Promotion comes with added responsibilities and more work Those God has favoured should live up to expectations and brace up for higher responsibility.
.
“However, to those who are not  promoted, we believe that God is Sovereign and knows the best, keep on trusting Him, your promotion will come at His own time.”
.
In his vote of thanks, the most senior celebrant, DCC Godfrey Echerenwa, commended the authority for their promotion, adding that they would live up to expectations.
.
He said that their joy knows no bound as it is a special day in their career.

Dignitaries including sister security operatives from the Department of Security Service (DSS),  Police, graced the event.
