CoalCity 2026 Games: ‘NSC impressed with Hostel Facilities in Enugu’ – LOC Scribe

The Secretary General of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), CoalCity 2026 Games, Olumide Bamiduro, has said that the visiting National Sports Commission (NSC) inspection Team, expressed sarisfaction with the hostel facilities in Enugu.

Hostel Facilities are being put in place for the 23rd National Sports festival, tagged: “COALCITY 2026 GAMES” .
.
Speaking to newsmen after the 2-day tour of sporting facilities in Enugu State, by the visiting National Sports Commission inspection team, Bamiduro, commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for putting up brand new hostel facilities at Government Technical College (GTC) Smart Green School, designated as one of the facilites to accomodate athletes for the festival Scheduled to hold next year in Enugu State.

Bamiduro noted, “We went round Enugu.The highpoint of the inspection visit is the brand new edifice at Government Technical College (GTC), Smart Green School, that is being put in place ,and will most likely accomodate about 3000 athletes”

“The past 2 days we went round and on the spot assessment of the sporting infrastructures, that Enugu Local Organising Committee, made available to the National Sports Commission, inspection Team. The facilites are very impressive, they, too have expressed sarisfaction with the facilites on ground for the festival. I am happy that the Team from Abuja on their own testified that Enugu is ready.

“I want to use this opportunity to tell doudting  Thomases, that, Enugu is ready for the games next year.
.
“Enugu people should   continue to be hospitable and support Governor Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration in its efforts towards providing world class facilities for the festival scheduled to hold in Enugu State next year”  he stated.
