Cleric frowns at negative life style, urges Christians to emulate Christ

Spiritual Leader of Divine Seed of Adonai Synagogue, Umudioka, Anambra State, Rev. Dr. Elisha Esimoneze, has frowned at what he described as the negative style of some believers that run contrary to the teachings of Christ.

The Cleric, who is also the General Overseer of the Synagogue, said in a sermon in his church that whoever will be a follower of Jesus Christ must at all time endeavour to “live according to the tenents and teaching of Christ.”

He also said that anything that is associated with the traditional belief system is derogatory and should be avoided and condemned by any avowed believer.

The Man of God maintained that all the followers of Christ should live by the commandements handed down by God.

Esimoneze therefore advocated that living the life of immorality, selfishness and other vices counters the teaching of Christ and urged all Christians to ensure they reflect on their ways of life so as to enable them to maintain the faith Christ taught.

The General Overseer, therefore commended Gov. Soludo on how he has been piloting the affairs of the state and called on the people to support him for better goverance and provision of democracy dividends.

High point of the church service was the intercessory prayer offered for peace to reign in the country.
