The Founder/President of Diaspora Voices Network (DVN), Captain Douglas Chukwu (CDC), a Nigerian-American has taken a hard look at the Nigeria’s rising insecurity challenges, saying he supports President Donald Trump of the United States of America (USA) in his plan to attack the terrorists in the country if their evil actions are not checked without further delay.
.
Captain Douglas Chukwu who spoke through Dr. Madus Mathias, Director-General, DVN, and CDC Group on Saturday, stated that the action of President Trump to end insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria is a welcome development.
.
“Over the years, I, Captain Douglas Chukwu -CDC has been raising voice against the activities of wicked and corrupt leaders in Nigeria”, he stated.
.
Recall that earlier this month, Trump warned on his social media platform that if the Nigerian government “continues to allow the killing of Christians,” the US may halt all aid and intervene militarily “guns-a-blazing.”
.
He ordered the Defense Department, which he recently rebranded as the “Department of War” without making an official name change, to prepare for potential fast-strike operations.
.
“If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet,” Trump wrote, directing Hegseth to act.
.
Hegseth publicly replied: “Yes sir, the Department of War is preparing for action.”
.
The violence in Nigeria has gained growing attention from conservative circles in the US, including Senator Ted Cruz and Congressman Riley Moore, both from Trump’s Republican Party.
.
Independent monitors, including the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project, report that tens of thousands of civilians have died in Nigeria in recent years, with both Christians and Muslims among the victims.
.
It could also be recalled that Dr. Madus, who doubles as CEO of the Miss CDC Nigeria, a pet project of CDC Group, stated at a world press conference in Enugu that Captain Douglas Chukwu has the potential to lead Nigeria to a brighter future.
.
Madus cited Captain Chukwus’s philanthropic works and compassion for the vulnerable as key reasons he would be an ideal candidate for Nigeria President of a South East extraction in 2027.
