Again, Enugu APC dismisses media reports on expulsion of its chairman, Ugochukwu Agballah, Exco members

.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Enugu State Chapter has again dismissed the media reports that its chairman, Barrister Ugochukwu Agballah and members of the state executive committee have been expelled from office for misconduct.
.
A statement signed by Titus O. Ezeagu, Publicity Secretary APC Enugu State, dated February 25, 2025, made available to Daily News Nigeria on Wednesday, stated that the publication on the expulsion is fake.
.
Parts of the statement read:
.
“Our attention has been drawn to a fake publication allegedly signed by the duo of Mr. Alphonsus Onyeachonam and Charles Solo Ako falsely claiming the office of the state chairman and publicity secretary of APC Enugu respectively purportedly expelling the Barr Ugochukwu Agballah led State Executive committee of the All Progressives congress (APC) Enugu State.
.
“Ordinarily we would have ignored the error ridden and poorly worded fake publication which is as nonsensical as it is arcane.
.
“But for the interest of the unsuspecting members of the public who may be mislead by the unfounded beer parlour gossip circulated on social media by a bunch of illiterate lot of about 8 misguided political merchants who regrettably assume that a constitutionally elected State Executive committee can be removed by dissemination of false propaganda in the social media.
.
“We have seen them at this foolery for eight months now and it has never affected the smooth running of the state affairs of APC Enugu State
.
“It’s pertinent to remind the APC faithful and the general public that the national and zonal leadership of our great party APC have on separate occasions disowned the disgruntled lots who allowed themselves to be bought and used, describing them as faceless individuals who are not known to the party and reaffirming that Barr. Ugochukwu Agballah and his Executives remains the only known state chairman and SEC of APC Enugu State, urging the general public to disregard the antics of faceless criminal elements parading as party officials.
.
:As these bunch of disoriented impersonators led by one Alphonsus Onyeachonam continue to peddle their falsehood The Hon. Barr Ugochukwu H. Agballah the capacity state chairman APC Enugu State refused to be distracted as he continues to perform his constitutional duties unhindered as he is currently in Abuja with other 35 state chairmen of APC for the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of All Progressives Congress (APC) to be presided over by Mr. President, with the national Chairman and other national caucus of the party billed to be in attendance on 26th February, 2025.
.
“Isn’t it preposterous that these sponsored criminal elements parading as Executives of APC Enugu State have never been seen anywhere near any official function of the party both at state and federal levels? It’s indeed laughable that a self acclaimed state chairman of a political party will be peddling falsehood on social media while a very important function.of the party such as the NEC is underway in the nation’s capital.
.
“The general public is therefore by this publication called upon to disregard the fake expulsion circulated by these jobless merchants of political crisis as they have no place in APC Enugu State and their beer parlour gossips are null and void and of no effects on our great party APC Enugu State.
.
“We use this opportunity to wish our Able state chairman, Hon. Ugochukwu Agballah, Deputy National chairman(South) chief Emma Eṅeukwu, Southeast Zonal Chairman, Dr Ijeoma Aroduogbu and their colleagues a successful deliberations at the forthcoming NEC meeting.of our great party.
