2023: Enugu Town Union Presidents-General congratulate Mbah on his electoral victory

Association of Town Union Presidents-General, Enugu State, has congratulated the state’s governor-elect, Dr. Peter Mbah, on his victory at this year’s poll.

In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Union’s State President-General, Chief Paully Eze, and his deputy, Hon. Arinze Ogbodo, the body hailed the process that produced the governor-elect, stressing, “the victory showed thay the voice of the people were heard at the poll.

The leaders of the autonomous communities further prayed that God would continue to guide and direct Mbah in his resolve to transform the state.

They expressed optimism that his administration would transform the state once inaugurated on May 29, this year.

The group also commended Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s administration for its support and encouragement of the town unions since inception in 2015.

“The Enugu State Town Unions heartily congratulate the Governor-Elect of Enugu State, Barr. Dr. Ndubuisi Mbah and his Deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, for their well-deserved victory at the 2023 governorship election in the State.

“The voice of the people is indeed the voice of God. We rejoice with you and pray the Almighty God to shield and guide you as you enter the Lion Building on 29th May, 2023, to lead our dear State.

“We also appreciate the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (CON) for all his support and encouragement of Town Unions in the State since he assumed office as Governor.

“We pray God to protect and direct him in all his future endeavours,” part of the statement reads”
