The first of its kind competition will be the second statewide event to be held at the newly built sports complex, that is currently revolutionizing sporting activities since after it hosted the state basketball tournament.

As gathered, during the competition, the eight teams will take part in twenty-eight matches at the venue with prize money for all the teams and TV coverage on YouTube.

After the inauguration on the 10th of April, the competition will officially kick off from May 2025 and will be over by August 2025 when the winner will emerge.

Recall that over a month ago, the state Commissioner for Sports had invited all owners and potential owners of football clubs to register to own a club in the ₦10 million Supalig Five-Aside Championship.
